New Season

As we begin the new season I would like to welcome everyone back to the club. Your club needs your active support as well as your financial support. Your active support---attending meetings, asking questions, and helping to answer questions when you can; keeps your club alive and interesting. Your financial support---your five dollar annual dues helps to maintain our equipment and when necessary buy new equipment. Dues payment may be made at the table in the “front” of our room.

Old Business

This past week we discussed File Extensions. For a list of file extensions you can visit:

TUTORIAL for Monday, November 24 2003

Leaving behind last week’s intro to computing we will now concentrate on is the life blood of our computer Files and Folders.

Organize Files & Folders is the theme of this week’s tutorial. The material sometimes has a cutesy tone but is truly relevant for beginners and experts alike.

Beginners might want to just skim over the part about hard drive “partitions”.

I will review and discuss this tutorial at the next meeting so bring your questions and comments.
