the meeting. We have a number of people using different programs and they will

 John Abbott on last weekDuring the computer club meeting on February 12, 2007 I again found myself presenting too broad a subject with less than normal time to present it. As I bounced around the web trying to demonstrate some of my favorite sites, I managed to omit quite a bit - I'm blaming the clock and the connection. The main two sites that I hoped to get you to focus on were Google and Zoho. You can open free accounts at either by going to their portals front page: Google front page; or Zoho Servcies front page. But those are just a drop in the bathtub of the available services. I've compiled lists by service offered, but to post that list would require a four page newsletter and it might be out of date by now. Anyway here is (in no particular order) a list of the web 2.0 lists and other helpful product data that I've found on the Web. I encourage you to add other sources in the comments.

He has all new presentation for us this year on Internet Video including video formats, Video on demand, Band width and requirements, Download Sites, Video Conferencing, Web cams, Skype, Channels, Security Cameras and Power Point Presentations. Jose is the most knowledgeable person I have met concerning computers and video. He has operated a company in McAllen that sells video items worldwide. Many items well under $20.00 as well as a few items in the thousands of dollars. For no more than $40.00 he has a cable that will connect your older VCR or Camcorder to a modern computer allowing transfer of Video to your computer. See his site at www.svideo.com.
