We have a very special lady, who is one of the original members of the computer club, celebrating her (80) birthday. If you would like to surprise Pat Ingram with your presence and a card, then you are invited to a Brunch at 11AM January 19th-Tuesday at "Cheddars" This restuarant is located off HWY 83 and Ware Road - Convention Center Mall, next to MiMi's.
Although she knows that a few of us are going, we are trying to keep it sort of a secret about the rest of you. No RSVP required since we can't get reservations.
Pat was in charge of the computer sales and running the keyboard for many years.She gave up her club responsibilities this year. As you think of her friends invite them also.The more the merrier.

Some members, with cell phones only, are getting the wireless cards for service to the Internet from their cell phone companies. Verizon works very well in most areas.
If your computer needs repair then you can get a diagnostic work for ten dollars and labor for repair at twenty five dollars an hour from Chris Mayes. His telephone number is (956) 655-5393. His email is chris@chrissuport.net. Chris was at the craft show and recommended "Cricket" for the wireless modem you need to connect to your computer if you do not a have wireless connection. You can put the word Cricket in a Google search and locar the service. The office is located on Conway Just one half a block from HWY 83 on the left side.They have a large green sign. Tell them what you need and for how long you will need the service. They should be very reasonable.
We will have our computer club luncheon on January 18th at Chocita's Restaurant on 1011 W. Veteran's Hwy.Palmview. The directions: Go out Bentsen Palm drive across business Hwy 83 and continue under Hwy 83 freeway to the first light at W. Veteran's Hwy turning left. You will go down towards Palmview HEB about four blocks and looking right you will see the flags and advertising of the restaurant. Turn in the circular drive and enter the parking area. We will have a room reserved in the restaurant for all of the BGRCC members and friends.
