BGRCC Bulletin for March 15, 2010

BGRCC Members
On March 15th we will have the final drawing of the year for door prizes. Gary Bernier will show beginners how to Download programs next week and install them to their computers.

Doug gave an interesting talk to our group on Monday to illustrate how he thinks all of us know much more about our computers than we want to admit to. I received the following which I will share with everyone in a way that Doug used to make his points. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This one is for all my friends who are computer literate!
During a company’s recent password audit, it was found that a blonde employee was using the following password:

"MickeyMinniePlutoHueyLouieDeweyDonaldGoofySacramento"

When asked why she had such a long password, she said she was told that it had to be at least 8 characters long and include at least one capital.

Well we have had a good year and Monday " thewirelessweb" got the computer room wired so we can use the web while we are in computer class. The owner of thewirelessweb asked that if anyone now is not getting good service to let him know. He needs to know the location where you are getting your service (your park address) and the problem you are experiencing. Please call the tech so they can help with the problem.

Our computer club is getting our service now from thewirelessweb and everyone should be able to get the service in the room on their wireless.
